City Anchorage
The City of Bradenton Beach is currently in the process of developing an anchorage plan for the area located just south of the city pier. The plan includes the placement of a mooring field, harbormasters office, dingy dock and shower facilities located at and near the city pier.
This designated anchorage will increase security for the live-aboards and help preserve the sensitive grasslands that are located near the proposed site.
The City is also pursuing grants that will aid in the development and construction costs for this project.
